Hon. William Duma, MP is the current Minister for Petroleum and Energy in the Somare/Temu government.He first entered politics in 2002 Papua New Guinea National Elections.
He was elected again in the 2007 Papua New Guinea National Elections. This is his second term term representing the people of the Mount Hagen Open Electorate.
Duma played a major role in Papua New Guinea's Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) projects and other major projects in Papua New Guinea.
Mr. Duma is from the Jika Mililamp tibe who live outside Mount Hagen City. Duma is a lawyer by profession.
